Senior Day Care Center

At the Foundation For Senior Care, our passion is addressing the needs of seniors in our community—something we do day in and day out, through a range of support services. One of the biggest things we do is offer regular Senior Day Care Services, available from Monday through Friday, from 9 in the morning until 4 in the evening. During these special hours, we welcome local seniors into our center, where we befriend them, socialize with them, enjoy their company, and allow them chances for leisure, interaction, and entertainment—all while putting their health and safety above all else.

We love working with those advancing in years, and in particular with those who are dealing with dementia or memory loss. Our Day Care services are available at a daily cost of $95; those who participate can arrive and depart at any point during our normal business hours.

Senior Activities

We want the Senior Day Care Center to be a place where our seniors can come to enjoy themselves. As such, we offer a range of activities, all chosen with the specific physical and mental needs of our clients in mind. A day’s activities might include cooking, playing games, crafts, brain health exercises, watching a film, engaging in exercise, taking walks in the garden, enjoying snacks together, or simply savoring one another’s company. Activities and one-on-one time are structured in a way to help our clients reach goals that are personally defined for each individual client and their specific needs.

Resources for Seniors

We want seniors to have a good time while they are here, but we also want to help address whatever needs they may be dealing with. That’s why we offer a range of resources to address various aging concerns, including resources provided in tandem with our local partners. Senior advocacy, transportation, and computer learning classes are just a few of the ways in which we seek to support the seniors in our community.

Senior Advocacy

Through our Senior Care Advocacy, our case managers sit down with seniors and their families to have one-on-one conversations about their various needs and concerns. We gladly meet seniors in their homes, and simply listen to them, working to put together a care plan that will help support them in whatever ways they need. We connect our seniors with services provided in-house, but we also support them through the services of our partners in the community—including Fallbrook Volunteer Senior Patrol/YANA (You Are Not Alone), Adult Protective Services, American Red Cross, Lifeline, People to People, and many more.

Care Van Transportation Program

Another service that we provide to seniors in our community is transportation, specifically in the form of our Care Van. Our drivers provide safe and dependable door-to-door service to seniors who need help getting around. That includes rides to our Adult Day Care Center, to medical appointments, and to places like the pharmacy and the grocery store. We should note that spaces are limited, and a reservation is required at least 48 hours in advance. Our drivers prioritize medical appointments, but are generally able to help seniors get to and fro as needed.

Computer Learning Center

Still another service we offer is a slate of Computer and Internet classes, hosted in our Computer Learning Center. Anyone from our community who is over the age of 50 is welcome to come and spend some time with one of our skilled instructors, learning the basics of computer and Internet use in a small, hands-on classroom setting.

Computer and Internet Class for Seniors

Here again, advanced signup is required! The reason for this is that we deliberately keep our class size small, usually just about eight people, to ensure that everyone gets plenty of personal attention. Make sure you contact us right away to get into our next available class!

Servicing Communities

We offer a range of services to address the range of needs among our elderly and our disabled, and in doing so we hope to provide something meaningful to the Northern San Diego County community, and to Fallbrook, Temecula and Murrieta, in particular. We invite you to learn more about what our non-profit does, and how you can get involved. Contact us at the Foundation for Senior Care to get more information today.

Scholarships to "The Club" Adult Day Care may be available for residents of Fallbrook, Bonsall, Rainbow, or De Luz, or North San Diego County residents with a Parkinson's diagnosis.
