Senior Care Advocacy
At the Foundation for Senior Care, we love meeting with groups of seniors—including our regular Day Care groups and our Computer Learning Classes. However, we are just as passionate about meeting with individuals one-on-one. That is what our Senior Care Advocacy program is all about. Our seasoned, experienced case managers meet privately with individual seniors, speaking openly about all manner of concerns, extending support and compassion along the way. We are passionate about working with seniors through whatever issues they are facing.
Advocate Program
The first thing to note about the Senior Care Advocate Program is that it is truly one-on-one. We seek to treat each of our clients with dignity and respect, and as such we view our advocacy in conversational terms. Our case managers sit down with the client to talk things out, to listen, and to offer solutions where possible. We meet with individuals in their homes, ensuring confidentiality and discretion.
In advocating for our seniors, we are happy to work with them on any number of issues related to the aging process. We provide resources where we can. When we can help in-house, we gladly do so, but we also have key partnerships with other community organizations, allowing us to offer a wide range of solutions.
Ultimately, in working with our seniors, we seek to develop care plans that address all of their needs, and put their best interests first. Our foremost mission is preserving the safety and independence of seniors in our community, and the Senior Care Advocacy program is just one way in which we do that.
Donations, Grants and Bequests for Senior Care Advocate Program
Something else that is important to note about our Senior Care Advocate program is that it is offered free to individuals, and is underwritten entirely through donations and grants. It is through the generosity of our donors and partners that we are able to provide ongoing service and support to seniors in our community.
