Photography on the iPhone & iPad: What you can do with it!

The world of photography is changing. The capability of the iPhone and iPad cameras have continually improved to where it is rivaling the best camera in quality and range of functions it can perform.  This workshop will cover the extensive capabilities of the camera, including taking photos, videos, panoramas, Time-lapse, Slo-motion, Portraits, Live Photos, using filters, and Burst. Models with dual or triple camera systems are covered.

In addition, editing of the finished photos and videos using the built-in Photos app is covered, including auto enhancement, cropping and straightening, applying filters and adjusting light and color.  Saving and sharing your photos and videos, including iCloud storage, optimization, uploading and syncing your photos across your devices is also covered. The intelligent search capability of the Photo app for face recognition, location identification, and scene & object recognition, will be included.

This workshop is a precursor to the next iPhone and iPad Zoom class, tentatively scheduled for January 2021.

Be sure to answer the questions about your device and problems you are having during registration.  This information is provided to the instructors so they are prepared to answer your questions.

Note: The class will be held on Zoom. You don’t need a Zoom account to join a meeting. However, you do need a Zoom account if you want to host a meeting in the future. Free accounts allow you to host a meeting for up to 40 minutes. Paid accounts give you full use of meetings for up to 100 people with no restrictions on the length (up to 24 hours).
